Kaye's 160th Anniversary Celebration
The children and staff had a memorable history day in school celebrating the 160th anniversary of Kaye's First & Nursery School. The hall was set up as a museum and the children were able to handle artefacts. The time capsule, that was buried 10 years ago, was lifted from underneath the hall floor which made an exciting assembly! In the classrooms, Year 1 decided to work in silence, Year 3 loved their teachers being strict and Year 4 & 5 stood up every time an adult entered the room. Some children also enjoyed a walk around the village which included Cliffe Woods and a photo stop outside Mr Kaye’s house.
